Obituary

Bartholomew P. Bisceglia, 89, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Autumn Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He leaves several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Bartholomew (Uncle Bart to all who knew him) was born in Worcester, son of Louis and Antonia (Sclmoni) Bisceglia. He attended Boys Trade School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. He worked for many years as a machine operator for various companies. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing and sharing his prized tomatoes.

Uncle Bart will forever remain in the hearts of his family: Patrice and Skip (Bisha ) Valencia, Claudia and David Ferretti, Diane Bisha, Sharon Bisceglia, Libra Champagne, Patte Schlamel, Louis, Fran and Jeff Torone, Deborah and Michael Biscegllia, Paula Bisceglia, great neices Geri, Alana and Amberle, and good friend Louie Germain.

The family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Village for the loving care that they provided to him - they were wonderful and a comfort to our uncle and family members.


Calling hours will be held on Sunday April 29, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, American Diabetes Association 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston MA 02210.
