Donald Lee Pace, 79, passed away Thursday April 26, 2012 at Jewish Hospital Southwest.
He was born in Louisville to Harden & Isabel (Fields) Pace Sr.
Donald was a Mechanic and Co-Owner/Manager of Pace Service Station in Valley Station for many years.
He was a Catholic by faith and had been a Volunteer Fireman for South Dixie Fire Dept.
Don was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Marjorie (Streble) Pace.; his children: Donna Pace and Denise Hafling (Art);
4 Grandchildren: Taylor, Alyssa, Stuart, and Chase Hafling; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Harden Pace Jr. (Barbara) and Joe Pace (Barbara).
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial to follow in Bethany
Cemetery.
Visitation will Sunday 12:00 - 8:00 PM.
