Carol A. Mucci
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister
TEWKSBURY: Carol A. (Brown) Mucci, age 66, a former longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, following a brief illness.
She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Mucci, who passed away on June 15, 2007.
Born in Winchester on January 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. Brown and the late Eleanor (Hall) Brown.
Carol was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury schools.
She resided in Tewksbury for over 20 years until recently moving to Dracut. Carol had also lived in the communities of Lowell, Ayer and Billerica.
Carol attended the Tewksbury United Methodist Church.
In earlier years, she worked with her late husband in the family business known as Genesis Dye Cutting, formerly of Lowell and Wilmington.
Carol enjoyed completing puzzles and crochet.
She is survived by two sons, John P. Mucci of Revere, and Robert J. Mucci of Sarasota, FL; two daughters, Carolyn E. Mucci of Lowell, and Nancy A. Mucci of Andover; one brother, James W. Brown of Lowell; three sisters, Sandra J. Testa and her husband Joe of Winter Haven, FL, Jerri L. Heyl and her husband Richard of Sarasota, FL, and Deborah J. Aylward of Dracut; six grandchildren, Brandon, Jaylen, Dylan, Vanessa, Madison, and Syriah; also many nieces and nephews.
Carol was the sister of the late Ronald W. Brown.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 27, from 4-5 p.m., followed by a prayer service to be held in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury.
