Rose T. (DeMango) Ciampaglia, a long-time Medford resident, died Sunday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 79.
Mrs. Ciampaglia was born and raised in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Filomena (Simone) DeMango. She resided in Medford for over 50 years and was dedicated to the care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John C. Ciampaglia. She leaves one daughter: Theresa Ascolillo of Medford, and three sons: Charles Ciampaglia of Medford, John R. Ciampaglia of Ashland, Thomas Ciampaglia of Burlington.Rose also leaves her grandchildren Andrea, John C., Rosa, John D. and her siblings Isabella DiCarlo of Medford, and Sergio DiMango of Tewksbury.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 55 Winthrop Street, Medford, Thursday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
