William A. “Bill” DeStefano, Sr. Of Medford age 92 died Tuesday April 24 after a long illness at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born in Somerville he lived in Medford for the past 71 years. Bill was an Insurance Salesman with the Prudential Insurance Co. for 35 years and retired in 1980. Late US Navy veteran of WWII and a Life Member of the Medford Elks Lodge #915.
Beloved husband of the late Clara (DelMastro) DeStefano. Devoted father of Joanne Colasanti and her husband Leonard of Melrose, Ellen Todisco and her husband Dennis of Medford, William A. DeStefano Jr. of Stoneham, Robert J. DeStefano and his companion Kerry Cooper of Wells, ME, and Gary A. DeStefano of Medford. Loving grandfather of Paul Colasanti, Karyn Isabella, Dennis Todisco Jr., Michael Todisco, Terese Hardy, Tammy Sacco, Robert DeStefano Jr., Andrea DeStefano and the late Gary Colasanti. He is also survived by fifteen loving great grandchildren. Brother of Helen Gangi of Lynn, Tony DeStefano of Woburn and the late Jenny Firenze, Charles and Donald DeStefano.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30-11 AM.
Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
