Age 89
Of North St. Paul. Passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2012. Retired from US Air Force after 20 years of service. Retired from Air Force Reserve in 1973. Received Good Conduct Medal, WWII Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Retired after 20 years of service for US Postal Service. Preceded in death by wife Cheryel after 66 years of marriage; daughter Pamela and son John. Survived by daughter Deborah McKellepp (James); daughter-in-law Carol Petersdorf; grandchildren Lisa Smith, Pamela Howe, Traci Donnelly, Christopher McKellepp, Nicole Stone, Daniel Petersdorf, Amanda Olson and Ryan Lamere; 19 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Thank you to HealthEast Hospice for the loving care given. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (4/26) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
