Mrs. Dianne C. (Buckley) Driscoll, of Taunton, died Saturday, April 21 in the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Tina Asci. She was born 70 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late John Buckley and Helen (Fitzgerald) Levesque. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from St. Mary’s Grammar School and the former St. Mary’s High School. Dianne also graduated from Bridgewater State College and Bristol Community College. She was a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bridgewater State Hospital for 11 years. She was previously employed at the former Paul A. Dever State School and at Taunton State Hospital. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her wife, she leaves: 1 son: William Driscoll of Taunton; 2 stepsons: Michael Taylor of Taunton and Shawn Taylor of Norton; a beloved pet, Abigail, and several grandchildren. Dianne was also the sister of the late John Buckley of Mansfield.
A Graveside Service will be held in the Berkley Common Cemetery on Friday, April 27 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
