Erich Hermann Burkert, 88, of Hampstead, NH died Sat., April 14th at The Arbors at Bedford, Bedford, NH.
Erich was born and educated in Germany, the son of the late Martha (Dudeck) and Hermann Burkert. He immigrated to the United States in 1954 and settled in Staten Island, NY. He was a member and an active participant in the Deutscher Club of Clark, in NJ. Erich loved ten pin bowling and gardening. He enjoyed working with his hands and was very talented making many items out of wrought iron.
He was predeceased by his wife Hannelore (Weidemann) Burkert.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
