Lorraine Couto)Pereira, age 84 of Fall River, passed away on April 20, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Bento Pereira and the daughter of the late John Silvester Couto & Alexandrina (Raposa) Couto. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Pereria worked in the retail industry as a Sales Associate. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church, loved to travel and vacation in Aruba. Most of all, Lorraine loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Besides her husband of Fall River, she is survived by her daughter, Norma Boudria (husband Ted) of Westport; her grandsons Ted & Scot Boudria of Westport; great grandsons: Zachary, Benjamin, Owen, & Cole; and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late John Silvester Couto Jr.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on MONDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours on SUNDAY 5-8 P.M.
