Lawrence — Michelle Champagne-Saltman, 56, a resident of Lawrence, MA, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Michelle was born in Hartford, Connecticut to Andre M. & Theresa A. (Stopyra) Champagne on March 6, 1956. She attended Holy Trinity Garmmar School and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence, MA. Class of 1974. She held positions throughout the Merrimack Valley for various mortgage companies. For the last five years she worked at Hanscom Air Force Base Credit Union.
According to her family she loved to read books, watch the Boston Red Sox and the Celtics. Most of all she worshipped and adored both her sons: Shaun and Nicholas.
She leaves her loving husband: Michael Saltman and her two sons: Shaun and Nicholas Saltman both of Lawrence, MA. Her brother Joseph and his wife Charlene Champagne of Yorba Linda, CAand her nephew Zakary Champagne of Yorba Linda, CA. also her mother and father in law William and Natalie Saltman of Rochester NH. & her brother and sister-in-law Scott Saltman and his wife Kim and her niece Seanna Saltman. Her aunts and uncles: Helen Previte of Salem, NH, Mary Pitochelli and her husband William of Andover, MA, Anthony Stopyra of Lawrence, Fr. David Stopyra, OFM, Conv. of Taunton, MA, Theresa Walsh of Billerica, and Pauline Champagne of Salisbury MAas well as many cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:00AM in St. Michael Church in North Andover, MA. A burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemertery in Lawrence.
