Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. DePaola died Friday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late John F. and Nora L. (Killory) Buckley, and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1944. She had been employed for over 20 years by Walker-Clay, Inc. of Hanson, formerly of Brockton, retiring as a Production Supervisor. After her retirement from Walker-Clay, Inc., she was employed by the City of Brockton in the school department, as an ear technician, testing elementary and junior high school students hearing. She was an avid reader and was devoted to her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter Debora J. DePaola of Brockton, one son Francis A. “Frank” DePaola of West Bridgewater, two granddaughters Kristen L. and Kathryn L. DePaola of West Bridgewater, many nieces and nephews and two sisters Marion Santry and Jeanne Smith both of Brockton. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. DePaola and sister of the late Louise Crowley, Grace Buckley, Frank Buckley, Mildred Russell, John Buckley, Patricia Hanson, Martha Longe, Edna Reardon and Gregory Buckley.
