Mrs. Ann L. DeBilio, 92 of The Villages FL, formerly of Medford, Malden and Boston’s North End died on April 10 at her home in FL. Surrounded by her loving family. She is the wife of the late John DeBilio.
Born in Italy, daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Aloisi) Tavano she emigrated from Italy to the United States as a child. She and her family settled in Boston’s North End where she remained until 1941. She moved to Malden and in 1962 became a Medford Resident. She moved to FL. In 2002.
She and her husband were the founders and operators of the Forest Hill Sportswear Company in the North End in 1947. She continued working in the clothing manufacturing company until her retirement in 1985.
Mrs. DeBilio was considered a wonderful cook however excelled at baking, she often played Bingo and enjoyed a game of chance with occasional trips to the Hard Rock Casino and Foxwoods. She was a big fan of television Western’s and particularly like Chuck Norris as Walker, Texas Ranger.
She leaves 2 sons, Francis DeBilio and his wife Shirley, John DeBilio and his wife Judy all of FL. She is the loving grandmother of Susan Rader, Stacie and Charles DeBilio and the Late Michael DeBilio. Great Grandmother of Ann DeBilio, Jacqueline VanDeBult, Gage Rader, Hunter Rader, Brianna Rodgers and Michael Komito. Great Great Grandmother of Roman DeBilio. Dear sister of Mary Ferro of Malden and the late Rose Dantes, Fred Tavano and Raffeala “Phyllis” Iovanni. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 through 8 Pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
