Wayne L. Phillips, 61, of New Bedford, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Sacred Heart Nursing Home. Born in New Bedford he was the son of the late Vance A. and Hilda H. (DeMello) Phillips.
He was a salesman for the former Square Deal Auto of New Bedford. He was a 32nd degree mason of the Quitticus Lodge A.F. & A.M., New Bedford and a member of the Aleppo Shriners. Mr. Phillips was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing golf and his pets. He is survived by his companion: Susan Murley; an aunt and several cousins.
