Mabel Estell Maynard was called home on April 17, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus Thompson and Era Lane. Also her husband of 57 years, William Claude Maynard , Sr. , her sons Glenn Maynard, Jimmie Maynard, Paul Maynard and her daughter Ann Burckert. Survived by her sons Dan (Darlene) Maynard, Roy (Trena) Maynard, William Maynard, Jr., and Daughters Kathy (Otis) King and Dorothy Maynard. 19 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great-great Grandchildren. The family will receive friend on Wednesday & Thursday from 4-8pm at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11am with interment to follow in Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
