Joseph Francis Spina, of Plymouth formerly of Hingham, died peacefully at home on April 16th at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife Natalie (Harris) of Plymouth, his daughters Wendy James and her husband Paul of Wilmington, VT and Leslie Canterbury and her husband Russell of New Hartford, CT and his son Paul Harris Spina and his wife Ellen of Bridgewater. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Joseph was born in Boston and received his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed boating, reading, watching the Patriots and the Celtics and especially spending time with his family. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 19th from 7 to 9 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 20th at 10 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery in Plymouth.
