Roy Dee Parker, 84, of Groton died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Groton Regency.
He was born November 30, 1927 in Holliday, Texas, the son of William Carl and Bertha Mae (Hawkins) Parker.
Roy is survived by his wife, Florence T. (Yannaco) Parker, as well as his three children: Roy Parker Jr. of Groton, Wayne Parker of Groton and Diana Parker of Gales Ferry. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will take place in May at Middletown Veterans Cemetery.
