Ada A. (Noonan) Sakash, 82, of Sumba Avenue, Orlando FL, died Friday October 19, 2001 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Lawrence, MA on September 20, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Maurice C. and Mabel (Metcalf) Noonan. She was a resident of Hampstead for twenty-one years, later moving to Orlando, FL. Ada was the founder and past president of the Hampstead Friends of the Library, past president and founder of the Hampstead Thrift Shop,as well as the organizer and past president of the St. Anne’s Parish Tabernacle Society. She was a member of the Hampstead Lioness Club and was an Honorary Lion. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Orlando, FL and was a former parishioner of St. Anne’s Parish, Hampstead.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristina M. Sakash, Orlando, FL, three sons, Ronald G. Sakash, Westfield, MA, George E. Sakash, Lancaster, PA, John T. Sakash, Dade City, FL, eight grandchildren, Jeanne MacDonald, Worcester, MA, Michael Sakash, Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica Repogle, Cincinnati, OH, Aaron Sakash, Somersworth, NH, Joshua Sakash, East Hampstead, NH, Ryon Sakash, Columbus, OH, Jason Sakash, Key West, FL, Jennifer Sakash, Orlando, FL, two great grandchildren, three sisters Julia Gianopoulos, Lawrence, MA, Ethel Lessard, Chelmsford, MA, Muriel Croteau, Mannassas, VA, one brother, Robert Noonan, Andover, MA, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George Sakash and one son Peter A. Sakash.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 24, 2001 at 10:00am at St. Anne’s Parish, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Burial will follow at the West Hampstead Cemetery, West Hampstead. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Derry on Tuesday October 23, 2001 from 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Comforter, 595 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
