Paul L. Brissette, “Quinn” 75, of Mapleville, a purchasing consultant for Hopkins Manor, LTD and Health Management Services for 36 years before retiring, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Charlene A. (Lohnes) Brissette. They had been married for 30 years.
Born in Burrillville, he was a son of the late Joseph B. and Parmelia (Goulet) Brissette. He was a member of the Glocester Country Club, the Burrillville Lions, the RI Health Care Association and the Burrillville Town Council. He was a licensed nursing home administrator through URI Extension. He was a Civil War buff, enjoyed gardening, golf,his family and his beloved dog, Molly.
He had also worked at the Scalabrini Villa in Cranston. He was a Navy veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons: Marc Brissette and his wife, Pamela of North Smithfield, Robert Brissette and his wife, Denise of Smithfield, his stepdaughters; Carole Davis of Laurel, DE, Robin Leather of West Greenwich, Wendy Mello of Brentwood, CA, eight grandchildren; Ryan, Andrew, Ian, McKenzie, Tori, Kate, Michael and Justin; a brother, Joseph “Tony” Brissette of McDonald, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roger, George, Leo, Arthur, Donald and baby Andrew Brissette, Mary Jane Willis and Rose Aubin.
His funeral service will be held Thursday at 7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm. Burial Private.
