Janice “Geri” Davis, 73, a longtime resident of Yulee, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 after battling a sudden illness. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. Geri was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 46 years, Jim Davis. Geri was the dedicated wife of a Naval Officer and lived all over the world, eventually settling down in Yulee. She was a selfless caregiver, wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a devoted friend. Geri will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sister Lucy Braun (Harry), her three daughters, Allie James (George), Rhonda Foulk (Howie), and Heather MacLean (Todd), as well as five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many loving friends, and her faithful dachshund AJ. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Green Pine Cemetery in Yulee, FL.
