Worcester – Florence J. (Czyryca) Sliwoski, 88, of Worcester died Saturday April 14 with her loving family at her bedside.
Florence is survived by her three children, Jacquelyn J. Bonin and her husband Frank C., Charles E. Sliwoski Jr. and his wife Denise, and Jeffrey W. Sliwoski and his wife Sheila, her grandchildren Jeffrey J, Katlynne, Tina, Amy, and Jeremy, and her two sisters Irene Ottoson and Caroline Carey of California, and several nieces and nephews and her dog and best companion , Ripley.
She was predeceased by her brother Edward Smith of Seattle, Washington.
Florence, was born May 5, 1923 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late William and Mary (Biegay) Czyryca. Loving wife to the late Charles E. Sliwoski Sr..
She worked at Norton before retiring and staying home with her children. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
She was a wonderful mom and her children and family is what she lived for. She was the kindest person with a beautiful smile that had a positive effect on everyone she met.
Her favorite hobbies were crocheting Afghans, reading books, and solving word puzzles.
Her funeral will be held Thursday April 19th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Prayer Service at the Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery .
