Obituary

Charles Wesley Allen MacKenn, 60, of Enigma died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at his residence. Private services and burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. MacKenn was born on June 14, 1951 in Summit, New Jersey and was the son of Virginia Carley MacKenn of Middletown, New Jersey and the late Charles Wesley MacKenn. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Dennis MacKenn. He was a truck driver for Asbury Park Press and of the Methodist Faith. He was a 6-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an umpire for Little League and High School Softball and a lifetime member of the Shore Umpires Association of New Jersey. He had lived in Enigma since December 2011.

Mr. MacKenn is survived by his wife, Irene Zeugner MacKenn of Enigma; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Keith MacKenn of Enigma and Corey and Tammy Pries of Tifton; two brothers, Tommy MacKenn and Billy MacKenn; two sisters, Mary Ann Boothe and Susan MacKenn; three grandchildren, Corey Pries, Jr., William Pries and Lillian Pries; and his mother.
