Swaner, Helen V. (Owen) 92 of Jeffersontown passed away Monday April 10, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center.
Born in Graves County she was the former Helen Owen. She retired from Dillards Department Store and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Ernest Darrell Swaner. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Griffith (Frank), her son Darrell Gene
Swaner (Charlotte); a brother Waddell Owen; Grandchildren Mike Swaner, Kim Johnson, Ehren and Ryan Smith; Four Great Grandchildren; and Three Great-Great Grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday April 14, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-7 pm and Saturday from 9-11 am at the Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church. Services will be officiated by Brother Don James.
