Robert L. Riendeau (Butch) 73, of Monroe St. died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Carol (Gilson) Riendeau. Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Leo and Sylvia (Dubois) Riendeau. Bob was a dyer for Ocean State Finishing for many years. Most of his life he worked as a stone mason. Bob served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Besides his wife he leaves three sons Steven Charlette of Cliffton Springs, NY, David Riendeau of Fort Pierce, FL and John Riendeau of Smithfield, four daughters Nancy Jones, Jo-Ann Hanzel and Lynn Jensen all of Woonsocket, and Lori Pelland of Cumberland, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Pamela VanVooren and brother of the late Lucille Roy and Constance Brooks.
Visitation will be held Thursday 6-8 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
