Normand C. Dupre, 79 years of Brockton, died Tuesday April 10, 2012 at the Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation-Sachem in East Bridgewater. He was the husband of the late Judith (Ippolito) Chisholm. Normand was born in Webster, to the late Ralph and Cecile (Lucier) Dupre. He was raised in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. Following graduation he went on to proudly serve our country during the Korean Conflict as a Navy Veteran. Normand was employed as a driver for the HP Hood Company for over 20 years and also worked construction for General Dynamics in Groton, CT for many years. He was a member of the Bertocci Club for over 25 years and bartended for the club for five years stopping in November of 2002. He was a NASCAR enthusiast.
He is survived by four sons, Normand Dupre of Stoughton, Stephen Dupre of Brockton, Paul Dupre of Kingston and John Dupre and his companion Jeannie Benvissuto and her son Avery all of Bridgewater; his grandchildren Chase and Melissa Dupre; his brother Donald Dupre of Longmeadow and one niece and two nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Friday 10-1:30pm immediately followed by a funeral service till 2pm. Cremation will follow with burial to take place in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Normand the family would prefer donations to BAMSI 10 Christy’s Drive Brockton, MA 02301.
