Marguerite E. (Feran) McCoole, 89, of Westborough and formerly of Medway died April 6 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough. She was the wife of John P. McCoole, Sr. for the past 59 years.
Born in Boston, July 7, 1923, the daughter of the late William C. and Mary E. (Mulvaney) Feran, Mrs. McCoole was raised in Roxbury and had lived in Medway for over 50 years prior to moving to Westborough last year.
A homemaker for most of her life she had also worked part time at St. Joseph’s Rectory.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court of St. Joseph and a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
Marguerite enjoyed cake decorating, sewing and singing.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children John P. McCoole, Jr. and his wife Viviane of Attleboro and Maryanne Mihaiu and her husband John of Westborough.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Timothy and Christopher McCoole and Gregory, Matthew and Michelle Mihaiu.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday April 11 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
