Edna Crutcher, 96, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab. Prior to her recent illness, she had been a resident of Dogwood Bend Assisted Living for more than seven years. She was born on June 19, 1915 near Chapel Hill, Tennessee and lived there most of her life. She was the daughter of Delwyn and Gertrude Blackwell Wilson. She was married to Edward Crutcher, who preceded her in death, for more than seventy years.
A celebration of her life and graveside services will be held in Chapel Hill at a later date.
She is survived by her sons, Marshall Crutcher of California and Richard Crutcher of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Marcia Allen of Clarksville, TN and Harriette Acorne of California; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
