John was a Professor of Music at the Berklee College of Music as well as studied at Berklee. John was a man of great love who embodied compassion through deed. His wit and sense of humor were bright sparks of joy and light at all times, even in the darkest hours. His music and kindness graced us all and the world has been forever blessed by his life.
