Mrs. Carolyn L. (Christensen) Ball, 89, a life-long resident of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Friday, April 6th, 2012 at the Prescott House in North Andover, MA.
She was born on June 23rd, 1922 in Lawrence to the late Hans and Annabel (McKinnon) Christensen. Carolyn was an attendant of Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence and was a member of Our Ladies Sodality for 72 years.
According to her family Carolyn enjoyed vacations in the White Mountains and Twin Mountains. She loved rides to the Beach, playing Bingo and especially loved spending time with her family during the Christmas Season.

Christopher and his wife Jane Ball of Methuen, MA.
Her daughter Carolyn (Ball) Champy and her husband Barry Champy of North Andover, MA.
Her brother David J. Christensen and his wife Marion of North Andover, MA.
Her eleven grandchildren; Linda Nunez, Carolyn Rosko, Barry Champy, Jr., Tracy MacCurtain, John Champy, William Champy, Brian Ball, Stephen Ball, Charlotte Ball, Margaret Chini and Shawn Baker. As well as 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings Hans, Donald, Robert and Anna.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Doctor Jane Thompson and the Prescott House Staff for their kindness, compassion, comfort and care during Carolyn's time of need.

Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
