Lena Carbone, 88 of Salem, NH, died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, in Haverhill.
Born in Boston, she lived in Salem, NH for the past 6 years and formerly of Medford. She was the daughter of the late Mamie (Bianchini) and Angelo Marfoli.
Lena was a Sales Clerk, at various business in Medford Sq. for many years.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Carbone. Devoted mother of Arthur Carbone and his wife Jean of Brewster, Greg Carbone and his wife Kim of Londonderry, NH. Loving grandmother of Gregory And Christopher Carbone of Londonderry, NH. Sister of Gino Marfoli of Malden, and the late Vincent Marfoli.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, Monday April 9, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Lena’s name to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
