June P. (Durant) Goyette, 55, of New Bedford died Tuesday April 13, 2004 at Hallmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the wife of Leo Goyette.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Priscilla (Ratcliffe) Smith of New Bedford and the late Richard Smith, she had lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Goyette was formerly employed as an inspector for Titleist-FootJoy until her retirement.
She loved going to Foxwoods and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; a son, Wayne Robert Goyette of New Bedford; a daughter, Sue Goyette of New Bedford; a brother, Robert Durant of New Bedford; three grandchildren, William Houtman, Tiera Brown, and Adam Wayne Goyette; a niece, Sherry Breault; a brother-in-law, William Goyette of New Bedford; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Stevenson of California.
She was the sister of the late Pauline Durant.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday April 19, 2004 at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM, prior to the Service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
