Loretta A. Blouin, 91, of Farm St. died Saturday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard L. Garrepy and the late Maurice Blouin. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Clara (Avery) Duclos. Loretta was the former co-owner of Blouin General Welding. She enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the French Genealogical Society.
Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Maurice P. Blouin of Blackstone, Peter B. Blouin of Woonsocket, David A. Blouin of N. Smithfield, and Philip R. Blouin of Taunton, MA, six grandchildren, Marc Blouin, Karyn Berkowicz , Peter Blouin Jr., Laura Klowan, David Blouin Jr., and Nicole Blouin, and eight great-grandchildren, Julia, Michael, Steven, Matthew, Allison, Amy, Alex, and Jackson. She was also the sister of the late Valmore and Armand Duclos.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket , with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 pm.
