Anna N. (Guzzo) Massa of Natick, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from complications of cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was born in Woburn on January 1, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Tony and Anna (Torhia) Guzzo.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of more than 35 years, Robert P. Massa. She was the youngest of three children and is survived by her two brothers Rosario Guzzo and his wife Marie of Tewksbury, and Joseph Guzzo and his wife Anne of Wilmington, several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Anna graduated from Saint Charles Borromeo School, Woburn, MA with the Class of 1961. She was a dedicated employee of Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Cambridge for 45 years. Anna was also a member of the Natick Sons of Italy.
The Massa Family would like to make a special mention of the kindness and care given to Anna by the Natick Visiting Nurses Association, the nursing staff on the 10th floor of the Lunder building and the Yawkey Cancer Center, both at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Family and friends are cordially invited the funeral on Thursday April 5 at 8:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street , at Natick Common, followed by Anna’s Blessing Service, at 9:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick. Burial will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery Woburn. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
