Mrs. Tamela Lynn Miller, passed away at Coffee Regional Medical Center on March 29, after a brief illness.
Tammy was born in Jacksonville, Florida, October 9, 1962. At 14 years old she volunteered at St. Vincent's hospital as a "Candy-Striper". After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, Tammy attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and later went on to be a Respiratory Therapist. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Shands Hospital before moving to Albany, Georgia; where she worked at Phoebe Putney Medical Center. Through a friend she met the love of her life, Michael Miller, or as she called him "My Michael". Tammy and Michael were married for 8 years when God blessed them with her greatest joy in life, her son, Cameron. For the past 4 years she had what she cherished the most, being called "Mommy". Tammy always greeted you with a smile and happiness. Tammy was a Wife, a Mother, a Daughter, a Sister, an Aunt, a Niece, a Cousin and a Friend. She was all of these and much more. She will be missed by her family and especially her husband, son, parents, her Sister Robin and all of her many friends. Tammy is with the Lord now and we know we will see her again.
She is Survived by : Her Husband Michael Miller, her son Cameron Michael Miller, both of Douglas, Ga. Mother: Jean Yvonne (Gordon Lee) Eason,; Father: Gerald Henry (Sharon Sue) Taylor; Sister: Robin Renee ((Christophen Steve) Halifko; Step-sister: Beth (Todd) Trapani; Father & Mother-in-Law: Roscoe J and Lenora Miller. Brother-in-Law: Jeremy (Amber) Miller. Also several Nieces, Nephews,Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Funeral service for Mrs. Miller will be held on Tuesday, April, 03, 2012 at Carver Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Carver Church Cemetery. There will be visitation on Monday 6:00 PM to 9:00 Pm at Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, Ga.
