Cindy L. (Piazza) Smith passed away on March 30, 2012. She was 58 years old.
Born and raised in Revere, Cindy was a lifelong resident of the city before living in Stoneham for the past few years. She worked as a secretary at the Garfield School in Revere and loved gardening.
Cindy was the devoted wife of 13 years to Kenneth J. Smith. She was the loving daughter of Helen (Newman) Piazza of Revere and the late Salvatore Piazza. Cindy was the beloved mother of Sheena Sherwood and her husband Dave of Peabody and the step-mother of Dylan Smith of Stoneham. She was the dear sister of Bruce Piazza and his wife Debbie of Chicago, IL and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, April 2nd from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
