HAVERHILL: John J. A. Morin, 86, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Evelyn A. (Malone) Morin.
A native of Haverhill, he was the son of the late Auguste and Mathilde (Arsenault) Morin. John was a longtime employee of Western Electric Company.
He is survived by his children, David, Maynard, John, Margaret Abells, Daniel, Michael and Tina McComis; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his siblings, Theresa Boucher, Emile Morin, Margaret Nordengren, Claire Moll, Marie DeLuca, Jeanne Comiskey and William Morin; a dear cousin, Mary Rose Barnes.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday in St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill from 2 – 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
