Scott, John Steven, 57, passed away March 24, 2012 at his home. He was a Catholic by faith and an Army veteran. John retired from Midas Muffler as a manager.
John is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Scott; and father, Harry Bertrand Scott.
Survivors include his mother, Anne "Nana" Scott; daughters, Michelle Eriksen, Chelsea Walsh (Ryan), and Courtney Scott; grandchildren, Breanne Giberson, Dylan Miklas, and Victoria Walsh; brothers, Gary (Sharon), Jimmy (Johnna), Mike (Tammy), Mark (Angie), and Kenny (Tammy) Scott; sisters, Kathy Scott and Laurie Webb (Jerry).
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 11am until the service at 2pm.
