Sandra L. (Thompson) DeMarco, 56, of Norton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA She was the beloved wife of Paul G. DeMarco, Sr., to whom she was wed on December 16, 1978.
Born in Meredith, New Hampshire on December 5, 1955, she was a dear daughter of Hazel (Avery) Eckhart of Laconia, NH and the late Victor Thompson.
Sandy grew up in Meredith and was educate in Meredith public schools. She had made her home in Norton for over 35 years.
She truly loved her job, especially visiting with the daily customers at Tedeschi’s in Norton, where she had been employed as an assistant manager for over 10 years.
When not at work, her favorite times spent were those in the presence of her family, especially with her adoring grandchildren. She also enjoyed outdoor activities, possessed exceptional cook skills and will always be remembered for her hard working ethics.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her devoted children; Traci J. Lord and her husband Michael of Norton, Paul G. DeMarco, Jr. and his wife Angela of Wareham and Toni-Marie DeMarco of Norton. The cherished grandmother of Hailee-Marie Lord, Cameron, Alex, Breann and Mikenna DeMarco, and twins Collin and Dillan Mueller, she is also survived by many siblings and their families.
A time of remembrance celebrating Sandra’s life will be held on Sunday April 15th from 2-4 P.M. at the Norton VFW Post on Summer St. in Norton.
