Doris H. Chase, 87, of Derry, NH, died Sunday March 25, 2012 in Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. She was born in Derry on August 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Duffield) Chase, and had been a lifelong resident. Doris attended Derry schools, and had been employed for the Gillette Co. and Western Electric both in N. Andover, MA for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas F. Chase of Derry, George Chase of Newcastle, ME, and Steve Chase of Rumney, NH; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four siblings, Franklin "BZ" Chase of Derry, Sherman Chase, Robert Chase, and Sally Pellisier all of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence F. Chase in 1993, her son Wayne Chase in 1993, and her daughter in law Jan Chase in 2005.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, March 28th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 10:00am in the funeral home.
