FRANKLIN—Doris A. (Bellardi) Marsh 80, of Franklin, died peacefully, Thursday March 22, 2012 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Warren P. Marsh for 39 years until his passing in 2008.
Born September 10, 1931 in Boston, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Donofrio) Bellardi, she was a resident of Franklin for the past 4 years, and was a former longtime resident of Cottonwood Shores, Texas.
She was raised and educated in the Boston area while living in Readville, Ma and was a graduate of the former Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. For many years she worked as the head operating room nurse at Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, arts & crafts, and dancing.
Doris is survived by a daughter Linda M. Kelleher and her husband Richard of Franklin, 3 sisters; Palmy Cardinal and her husband Fred of Norwood, Sylvia Burns of Dedham, and Mary Finn of Mashpee also surviving is her granddaughter Nicole M. DiVitto and her husband Steven and many nieces & nephews.
She was the sister in law of the late Bill Burns and Jack Finn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for Doris and Warren on Wednesday March 28th, at 10:45AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com.
Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 9-10:30AM prior to the service.
