SALEM- Angela M. (Stefanik) Poitras, 78, of 12 Pope Street, Salem, died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at the Union Hospital, Lynn, following a short illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Victoria (Stys) Stefanik.
A lifelong resident of Salem, she was previously employed as a hairdresser for 10 years before working at the General Electric Company in Lynn. She later worked at the former A.C. Lawrence Company in Peabody.
Mrs Poitras is survived by one son, David S. Poitras of Beverly, one niece and one nephew. She was the sister of the late William Stefanik, John Stefanik, Helen G. Robichaud, Amelia Stefanik and Henrietta Dubinskas.
