Edward S. Stern, a long-time Medford resident, died peacefully at home on Tuesday after a long illness. He was 76.
Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Morris and the late Dorothy (Greene) Stern. A book-binder by trade, Edward worked at several publishing houses in the Boston area, until his retirement. Devoted to his family, he was a fixture at his grandchildren’s hockey games with Medford Youth Hockey. The beloved husband of Nancy (DelPriore) Stern, he leaves his two daughters: Carol Stern and her husband Anthony Vozella of Winthrop, Deborah Gesualdi and her husband Anthony of Medford.
