McGrane, Arlene V., age ? (didn't want anyone to know), passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 20, 2012. Arlene was born on February 19, 19xx in Minneapolis, MN to Christian and Louise Hoidahl. She was an avid sports fan, bingo player & most especially loved spending time with her family and with those of you who became her "family". She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother & friend. Arlene lived life at "high speed" with a smile for everyone & when you met her she was your friend for life. Arlene was preceded in death by husband Ray; daughter-in-law Carol; 4 sisters & 2 brothers. Arlene is survived by children Jack/William, Dave (Diane), Lynn (Pat) Gonia, Dan (Paula); grandchildren Jack (Stephanie), Dick (Carrie Lou), Jeff, Shelly (Greg), Christy (Jamie), Tim (Jiao), DeLane (Jim), Darren (Tammy), Nikki (Tim), Ben (Jaime), Jon (Sara), Lauren, Ryan, Brandon; 18 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild; sister Lois Carr; best friends Phee Phee & Pat Ruchie; many other relatives & friends. Memorial service Monday (3/26) 11:00 AM at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 463 Maria Ave., St. Paul. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday 3-7 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and one hour prior to service at church. A special thanks to HealthPartners Hospice Team I, especially Natalie & Christine. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Caring Bridge or HealthPartners Hospice.
