Pasquale Cerbone, a longtime Somerville resident died unexpectedly at home on Sunday. He was 53.
Born in Naples, Italy, he came with his family to the United States as a young boy. First living in Boston’s North End, the family settled in Somerville in 1976. Pasquale worked as a baker at La Ronga Bakery in Somerville. He was devoted to his family and earned the love and affection of his many nieces and nephews who called him “Uncle Pat”.
The beloved son of Ottavio and the late Bianca Cerbone, He was a loving brother to Antonietta Mustone and her husband Alberto of Somerville, Joseph Cerbone and his wife Linda of Lynn, Peter Cerbone and his wife Linda of NC, Enza Basile and her husband Celestino of Groveland. Pat also leaves many devoted nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday, March 24th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
