TEWKSBURY - Robert N. Bucci, age 52, a well known area Restauranteur, died Saturday, April10, at Mass General Hospital, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was the lovinghusband of Stephanie (Dillon) Bucci.
He was born in Boston, October 13, 1951, a son of the late Salvatore A. and Alba (Fiato) Bucci. He was raised in Tewksbury and was graduated with Keith Academy’s Class of 1969. He laterattended Northeastern University.
He worked in the restaurant business throughout the area for most of his career.
He was a communicant of St. William’s Church, and was a former member of the Fr. Coppen’sCouncil, Knights of Columbus, Council 4336, in Tewksbury.
Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Christine, Lauren and Matthew Bucci all ofLowell; a stepson, Atty. Shawn Dillon and his wife Laura (Carciofi) Dillon of Tewksbury; twograndsons, Joshua Bucci of Lowell and Jack Dillon of Tewksbury; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard C. and his wife Cheryl (Chisholm) Bucci of Litchfield, NH, Joseph D. and his wifeHeather (Dalton) Bucci of Raymond, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol A. and her husbandWalter Rocco of Tewksbury; two nieces, his Goddaughter Rachel Bucci and Dakota Bucci ofNH; four nephews, Vincent, and Tyler Bucci of NH, Anthony and Nicholas Rocco ofTewksbury.
He was also the brother of the late Michael Bucci, who died May 22, 2003.
His FuneralMass was celebrated Wednesday, Apr. 14, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery.
