Laconia-----Patricia G. Dawson, 73, of 105 Sarah Circle died at her home on March 12, 2012 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Dawson was born March 22, 1938 in Valley Stream, New York, the daughter of Frederick W. and Veronica (Burke) Pomerenke. She graduated from Kings County School of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York. Patricia worked for several years as a Registered Nurse for such places as the Arizona State Hospital, Belknap County Nursing Home and also as a private duty nurse.
Mrs. Dawson lived in Arizona and New York before moving to Laconia and Gilford, New Hampshire. She then relocated to Florida and North Carolina before returning back to Laconia, NH. She loved gardening, cooking, painting and spending time with the family.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Thomas J. Dawson, of Laconia; three daughters, Patty Dawson of Raymond, Kathy Bergman of Laconia and Terri Dawson of Concord; five grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Bergman of Laconia, Quinn and Cole Fournier of Raymond and Emily Dawson of Concord, a great grandchild, Alexiah Sanchez, of Laconia; two brothers, Fred Pomerenke of Hewlett, New York and Mark Pomerenke of Florida; three sisters, Edna Tillman of California, Burl Augie of North Carolina and Rose Attanasio of Maryland and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dawson was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Miles
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 4:00-7:-00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 4:00PM also at the funeral home.
