Anna C. (Budreau) Shea, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the North End Rahabilitation & Nursing Center in Boston following an extended illness. She was 91 years old.
Anna was born in Boston on January 1, 1921 to the late William and Mary M. (Taylor) Budreau. She grew up in Charlestown and attended Boston Public Schools. Anaa was a homemaker where she dedicated herself to her family.
Anna is the beloved wife of the late Albert P. Shea. She is the devoted mother of Ann Griffin and her husband William of Charlestown, Albert Shea of Charlestown and Carole Coleman and her husband John of Charlestown. She is the loving Grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and also survived by her 3 loving nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Anna on Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 12 noon. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
