Roy W. Plant age 89 of Canton passed away peacefully March 17th surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Canton, he was the son of the late Frederick and Clara (MacKay) Plant. He graduated from Canton High School, Boston Trade School and he was a decorated Marine Corp Veteran of WW II serving aboard the U.S.S. Wasp from 1943 to 1945. He worked as a Supervisor for Keith Properties in Stoughton for 10 years and also worked at Draper Brothers in Canton for 15 years before retiring in 1985. Beloved husband for 64 years of Alyce I. (Harkins). Father of Joyce R. (Flint) Pratt of Canton, Roberta L. (Flint) Gallagher of Mansfield & Pamela J. Eckler & her husband Richard of Canton. Cherished Grampie of 9 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services private.
