Obituary

Daniel Morton Poore passed March 12, 2012. Dan was a friend to many, an uncle to 3, a brother to two, a son survived by parents and a father of one.
Lost are the yet to be spent days on Cobbetts pond, Wallis Sands beach, Biddeford Pool or time at the cabin in Caratunk, Maine; surviving are the great memories of the same. A water ski run on a cold flat lake, paddles in the canoe, a ski trip that worked out perfectly, are lodged in this writers mind but at 46 Dan left many great memories with all he met. Dan was an avid athlete, at Andover high school he played varsity soccer and he skied competitively though out his years, many fine times will be remembered on mountains or soccer fields by those who kept up.
Dan was a fiercely loyal friend, who would have happily shimmied up you largest tree and then given you the last dollar in his pocket. He lived for times spent with close friends and family; always in shared stories and kind laughter.
Dan pushed himself in a field that by its’ very nature, is extreme. He prided himself in his skill and labor as an Arborist, and was the back bone of many a fine tree crew. Dan finally realized his dream, of owning a tree care company Tree Division, Inc. with his brother Erik. Stories from the trees ranged, and always will, from candid accounts of labor, crazy customers and fun, to the deep connection he felt with the trees and Earth.
He’s gone from us too soon and will be often mourned, but in our hearts and minds we’ll hold dear the memories of happier times.
Daniel Morton Poore died unexpectedly on March 12, 2012. He is survived by his son Kenneth Poore of North Andover, Mother Susan T Poore Dalton of Windham, NH, his father Gates Morton Poore of California, and his brothers Patrick Poore of Windham, NH, and Gates Erik Poore of Derry, NH. He was a kind sweet uncle to Fabian Poore, Edie Poore, and Susan Poore and has an extended family of which he cared deeply.
