Mr. Terrell Butler,age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Butler was born on August 21, 1928, in Ambrose, Ga. to the late Odis and Eliza Swilley Butler.
Survivors include: his wife, Lorene Batten Butler, of Douglas, Ga,; One son, Ronnie (Tyna) Batten, of Alston, GA; one sister, Shirley Railey, of Ambrose, Ga; two grandchildren, Gabby and Kaylee Batten, of Alston, Ga. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Butler and a sister Margaret Harper.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday,March 20, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Winston Wright and Rev. Ferrell Harper officiating. Music will be furnished for the service by the Cady Sisters and Bonnie Musgrove as pianist and Rev. Ferrell Harper. Interment will follow at Bethany Church Cemetery.
