New Bedford – Natalia Pacheco, age 86 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Francisa (Pacheco) Augusto. Natalia is survived by her brother Antone August and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pacheco was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal and has lived in the New Bedford area since 1966. She was employed as a stitcher at Cliftex Mfg. until her retirement.
Mrs. Pacheco’s funeral will be Tuesday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be prior to the church services from 8:30 - 10 A.M.
